A potential problem for Phoenix is a chance for us to work at our best

Our client was struggling with site logistics and material distribution on site and could not see how telehandlers would service the £2.6m brickwork package nor did the project have allowances for craneage.

Phoenix sat with the client to show them benefits both logistically, sighting the crane in an inaccessible courtyard, and financially, when the programme/prelim savings were demonstrated to offset the ‘no craneage allowed’ concerns.

Phoenix handled all permits, licenses, base design, road closure and contract lift removal, procurement, management, and used our in-house CITB qualified craneage team to not only bring the project within programme but also minimise site traffic with zero accidents recorded throughout the project whilst freeing up site storage space.

This is one example of Phoenix offering more than laying bricks and blocks – we relish the opportunity of early involvement with projects and to help all of our client’s re-look at the buildability of schemes from an experienced specialist’s perspective who has worked on hundreds of projects around the UK.
