A combined labour only brickwork and full scaffold package for client Watkin Jones at Cranfield University in Bedfordshire. The scheme consists of outer brick façade of masonry to five new timber frame blocks of student accommodation on the existing University site. The five new blocks, varying between 3 to 5 storeys will provide the University with an additional 613 bedrooms. Phoenix’s package includes installation of facing brickwork, masonry support, fire barriers, vapour control layers and access scaffold to the entire scheme, due to complete in summer 2021.
